About Us

Red Thistle Adoptions is a non-profit, licensed adoption agency contracted by the Oregon Department of Human Services to do domestic, international, and special needs adoption counseling, pre-placment home studies, and post-placement reports.

Whether you are just beginning to explore the adoption process, already contemplating an independent/private adoption, working with a birthmother, or using a placing agency, Red Thistle can help. We will do our best to make sure each step of your journey is as stress free as possible, while guiding you through the thorny adoption process.
